Sheesha n lottery

by Deschanel

We went to a sheesha cafe nearby deira. i forgot this cafe's name (O.O), anyway, it's popular place to enjoy night view of Dubai creek. Love the aromatic sheesha!

Everyone enjoying sheesha :)))

He's preparing my sheesha. i took Blueberry flavour n my pal did Rose.

You may think it looks bigger than you expect'd.
Ready and...

Just smoke!
Yum yum if you like to smoke. Sweet molasses made me feel relaxed. it was my last night in Dubai. A few hours later i was omw home.

In the airport, DDF gives us a chance to be a millionaire or luxury car owner. You can get one ticket for the car draw w/ 1,000Dhs (apprx. JPY 30,000), and lately they have launched a big one called Double Millionaire n it costs 2,000Dhs for each!

Which one do you prefer? :)
If you win, they would invite you to Dubai again serving free Emirates' business seat and you could attend a ceremony!
i should've get one cause i'd done about 4,000Dhs shopping. All i needed at that time was time. When i was checking in, their check in system went down all of sudden and it took almost 1 hour to get back so,,, i had to hustle to get souvenir n all-i-need-to-shop-stuff. Next time i go there, i'll get this dreamy draw anyhow!

He's Modhesh! Dubai cartoon character, prolly. Famous among kids, i was told.
Bye for now, Modhesh. i'll visit you again!

Madinat Jumeirah

by Deschanel

Madinat Jumeirah is the former best place to see. The Old Town that has Burj Khalifa replaced currently. And yet, still amazing and you can enjoy visiting old Arabian styled places including 'Al Qasr', meaning 'The Palace'.

When you get in this souk, you'd be wrapp'd in strong exotic scent. This aroma is all over there and it would spice up your experience in this beautiful old Arabian architecture.

You can see Burj Al Arab here.

Good for getting souvenir here. Not just Arabic stuff & furnishings, you can buy brand goods, beach dresses and shoes as well. i fancy shopping in Atlantis The Palm & here the most. Though you can get souvenir in some shopping center located in everywhere, i'd like to recommend you to come here! Stuff are a bit pricy but worthy.

i like this view for some reason.
Was just beautiful.

Desert Safari

by Deschanel

Our destination is the desert ! Better go this desert safari when you visit Dubai. it's sooo necessary! Night safari would be much more fun w/ fire dance.

Stopping by gas station to get fuel & drink, we enjoyed roller-coaster tour up and down the dunes. Dune bashing was soooo rough but we loved it! Had been laughing out loud so hard with fun yay! X)

Hope you can see how roughly we went up & down w/ astonishing driving tech...

After having got to this camp, Arabic coffee in very small cup like demitasse was served w/ date. Arabic coffee was so strong. We drink the thinner liquid on top after grounds had settled down.

i rode him. We could duo and i was in the front. He got up on his hind legs first and it made steep pitch on his back. You can exactly imagine how we leant forward. He has long legs so... i had to keep up and take almost 2 persons weight w/ my arms omg!

Try the henna painting! it took couple of hours to dry up and be gone. At first, you would think it's a bit dim, next day you see it's got darker. it last almost 2 weeks on me. it costs nothing to get painting, all of the artist's reward is tip. We surely paid to thank for her work.

This sexy girl is a belly dancer.

She picked random guy and made him assist her show. it was actually so much fun! He was packed in Toyota w/ us and took dinner at same table. He got picked to catch a baton tossed by her and enjoyed it.

i bought this belt with a fringe of coins for me n my pals!
Should i learn belly dancing? in my university,  we had belly dancing group and i sometimes joined lessons. Now, i want to try it again. it would work for pumping up my bod. it was such fun to dance in the desert camp.

i do want to try the desert camel trekking, to the 'Rub' Al Khali' or 'Wahiba Sands' someday. it's one of my dreams. Breathtaking landscape of dunes that you can see in some postcard would be everything in your sight. it would be amazing. Next time i go to Dubai, hope someone w/ me would join me on this plan! Arabic escape totally attracts me.

Hopefully spending at Qasr Al Sarab

You don't know how i love it.

One day in a pool. Love the poolside palms so much

i love it when i can see pretty plants during chilling on the deck chair.

it's definitely japanese Bonsai wow!!
it's spotted at KIKU in Le Méridien Dubai.
They serve japanese cuisine like Teppanyaki, Teishoku, Sushi etc..
i had a Japanese-style steak plate and it hit me while my friend got the joker....poor her

And palms again. it's taken by me from car.

Palms Again and again in the garden.
However i couldn't take whole thing in a flame from a moving car on the road,
you'll see how pretty these houses are.
These are folk dwellings, how sweet!

Dubai Fountain

by Deschanel

We did wait hours chilling, eating n shopping like most ppl there did til the time reach'd the right time.

Love the illumination

Khalifa at nigh.

The fountain show in its lake is held every day fm18:00 to 22:00/23:00, closing time depends on wkend or not. We enjoyed 1st go of this night from lakeside n moved to Karma Kafé in Souk Al Bahar in easy walking distance.

We often see this kind of decoration appearing Asia n i like it!!

i like it pink'd everywhere.
We took some plates like Bento Sushi, Frit Salmon w/ yum sauce. Their Sushi didn't smell fishy at all n was very yummy! A bit smaller than that of Japan tho.

From Kafé, we could see Dubai Fountain. it runs every 20 mins. BGM, lighting-ups n water-moves were performed differently every time. Here's my vid taken from Kafé. i really enjoyed and was excited taking many fotos, though my friend who been living there more than 2 yrs said like, "You like it, i know. im glad you're enjoying, but for me, it's as usual & disturbs our chilling time with buzz and music, it even bothers me!"

¡Me gusta aquí lo mejor!

by Deschanel

Forgot whether souk or mall but...love this chandelier!
Very pretty

in Dubai Mall, there was a Gold Souk where fine jewelry stores are located. if you want way too pricy jewelry for your hon, you can get 'em here!! i couldn't get anything. Someday, my love might actually get some for me! ...prolly

Hmm, i want this also.
Really elaborately decorated all around in Gold Souk.

From Dubai Mall to Souk Al Bahar, seeing Burj Khalifa n its lake surrounding it.

When we had been having tea in a cafe, a clerk came to us and talked to us saying like "You are japanese, aren't you?!" so friendly in Japanese. We figured out he's a 'girl' cause of his style of talking, behaving n even of his voice! Tho he'd put on cool shirt n suit trou. He said he'd lived in Japan once n worked in the most famous city for ppl like him.  i thought he was so sweet! :) Having Smiled all the time n showed us his girlhood's foto that showed he was really pretty girl! He n his pals never be allowed to behave or be like girl.Living in Arab would never allow them to be like that.
He said it was sad thing he couldn't have beautiful long hair. indeed.
